Yeah.... No wonder food prices have been going up so much lately.

Along with BS reasons to raise oil prices as wee. The winter is about to taper off so they have to find a reason to keep the price per barrel up.

It doesn't matter how much more oil they find if they're not going to build more refineries....they claim they're at or near capacity now. Just another excuse....

I agree. One must always remember we are in the land of "feed us bu** Sh*t" and we will eat. And we do. Our society (I.E.gov't immediately followed by big business) lives on mis-information and we are their consumers.

They really don't need a REAL reason. There will always be something going on in the world that they can use to blame price increases.

We saw first hand how BP thumbed it's nose at the US government over what they wanted to do in OUR Gulf of Mexico. Does anyone really still have any doubts about who is calling the shots?

Absolutely not, because they get a kick back too.

I'm with that we need to start poking holes in N. Dakota and Montana and keep the food for eating.

How about the Anwar region of Alaska? There's reported to be more there than we need for 100 years! Possibly more! If they get a spill on land it's easily contained and not subject to the currents of the ocean or detrimental to the tourism economy the beach states need to survive!

This is one reason they say not to drill.

"Much of the debate over whether to drill in the 1002 area of ANWR rests on the amount of economically recoverable oil"

I guess the Gov. is trying to save us money! :rofl1::lmao:

I agree: The refineries are well over 40 years old in most cases...
