There are 100s of these in my neighborhood scattered around within 100 yards of each other.

Are they just laying on the ground as if they fell off of a vine or tree, or are they attached to the ground? I've seen a type of vine that has something like that on it. I just call it a potato vine, but have no idea what it is really called.

They're just laying there. I thought they might be an egg of some kind. I can't remember seeing them before in the years I've been here. :shrug01:

I'll check next time I see them and see if there might be some of them attached to something hanging nearby.

If they are attached to the ground, they may be a form of puffball mushroom.

Don't eat them suckers, or your Vette might REALLY start looking like
your avatar. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I checked one out this morning and it feels like a potato- heavy and dense.

I didn't eat one because I like my Vette just the way it is. :D
