Hurricane Irma

If it doesn't swing out to sea I'm gonna get really wet.

So, the storm system in the southwestern Gulf of Mexico is now a named hurricane. Katia. There are three hurricanes in the Gulf and Atlantic right now, with possibly a fourth one coming off the coast of Africa.

As of today's date, Ventusky is showing it moving even further east and may just keep far enough off the coast to not have actual landfall of the eye.

Most of the spaghetti models show the east coast of Florida being in the most jeopardy from Irma.

Yeah, unless the track moves east some more, could be a bad time on the east coast of Florida early next week. Hope everyone in that area is making plans and preparations now, just in case.
 
Great news there a couple of Irma's friends following her .Safest place for a car during a hurricane can be a multi story parking garage .

Been looking for a fixer upper house in Marathon ,this might increase the selection .

I think soon Ins is gonna cost so much that no can afford to insure a house.

Might scare some home owners into selling after this scare if they were on the fence about it. I know if I saw Irma heading in my way and I was living on an island, it could change my priorities about a lot of things.

Yeah, wonder how many insurance companies in Florida (the few remaining) are thinking about the possibility of bankruptcy papers right now.

If it rakes up the east coast it will be billions in damage if they get gust over 150mph.
