Sheesh.. Had a nice looking storm front heading this way, but it pretty much fizzled out when it got here and didn't even give us a tenth of an inch of rain. Guess I had better get on out there and turn the sprinklers on some of the fruit trees to keep them watered in rotation so they don't start dropping their developing fruit.
Line of rain 90 miles to my west offshore. Bet it falls apart before it gets to me.
Well, looks like you are getting more rain than we did here from what I can see on the radar right now.
Too bad you don't do astrophotography. You probably would get some really great shots with your telescope gear.
Yeah, probably a whole new complication for you to get into, I would guess. Especially if your current telescopes don't track objects based on the motion of the Earth. Most of the most interesting photos would need long exposures from the camera, which just cannot be accomplished without tracking.
I'm just a camera nut at heart, so I just tend to think that way. But certainly it's not for everyone.
We got 7.6 inches of rain here for April. Usually May is pretty dry around this area, so have to see how that turns out.
