CAN U DO IT!!!?

What are your top 5 favorite movies? :shrug01:

Not in any order, and this is just off the top of your head. You can change them at anytime.

1) Star Wars Empire Strikes Back. Because the effects were way ahead of it’s time and because Yoda was green and cool.

2) Aliens II because Sigourney Weaver kicked a$$ when she was in that armored forklift suit. “Get way from her you b!tch”

3) “Disney Pixar” movie Cars. Because in the end Lightning McQueen fixed he’s ways and Mater got her done.

4) Predator 1 Arnold Schwarzenegger was one bad dude and that one scene where they were all shooting into the woods at the same time blowing the world up was priceless. I want a mini gun too!!!

5) Brave Heart with Mel Gibson, that was one strong movie. Just cry out MERCY! MERCY!!!

Bonus, Chick flick.
6) Where The Heart Is. That’s the one where the girl gives birth in a Wal-mart store.

WOW, I didn’t have Scarface, or Pulp Fiction in there. I know someone's going to add Debbie does Dallas

This will give you more Ideas when you’re at Block Buster next time.

1) Smokey and the bandit

2) Gentleman prefer blondes - Big Jane Russell fan!

3) Donovan's Reef

4) The magnificent 7

5) East of Eden - James dean flick

SOoooooo many more too

Here ya go

1. Blazing Saddles
2. Animal House
3. Hollywood Nights
4. Star Wars (in any order)
5. Star Trek the Wrath of Khan

1) Smokey and the bandit

2) Gentleman prefer blondes - Big Jane Russell fan!

3) Donovan's Reef

4) The magnificent 7

5) East of Eden - James dean flick

SOoooooo many more too

I remember Smokey and the Bandit. Those were some cool flicks.
Hey, they came out in 1977 wasn’t that before your time?

I’ll have to look into the rest of your picks. I’ve never seen them before but now I have something to rent.

A year or two before my time, But mom had a 6.6 T/A my whole life so I had to see it allot.
most of those movies are way past everyone here's time:p

Gregs favorite is the hollywood knights also
also american graffiti, tombstone , cannonball run
and I recently got him addicted to the world fastest Indian! (the Burt Munro story)

that is a good one I recomend to everyone

1) Awakenings - anything with Robin Williams and Robert Deniro has to be good

2) The Quiet Man - The Duke and Maureen O'Hara

3) Saving Private Ryan - Tom Hanks has come a long way since "Bosom Buddies"

4) Defending Your Life - I'm a big Meryl Streep fan

5) The Searchers - The Duke again

There are several hundred others but these came to mind right off.

Taxi Driver / Casino

Saving Private Ryan / Forrest Gump

Reservoir Dogs / Pulp Fiction

Godfather 1, 2 & 3

LeMans / Grand Prix

Easy Rider

1. Night Shift - This is probably not on many peoples classic list, but it just strikes my funny bone :rofl1: Henry Winkler and Michael Keaton running a brothel out of a morgue. :lmao:

2. Top Gun - The dog fighting (fighter plane type, not Michael Vick type :NoNo:) and the music alone is worth an occasional re-watch for me.

3. The Fastest Indian - Totally agree with Ms AV. on this one. This is not just a motorcycle story, but a tremendous human interest story. Throw in Anthony Hopkins and how can it not be on your list? :yesnod:

4. Wild Hogs - Another movie that strikes my funny bone! Great collection of stars that if I was the casting director would have never considered putting them together. I guess that is why I am not a casting director!

5. The Italian Job - Great cast, interesting plot, good chase scenes with Mini-Coopers, and if that doesn't get your motor running there is Charlize Theron :hurray: :yesnod: :brick2:

I looked over this list and man, I can't believe :thinkin:I left off some movies like Conspiracy Theory, a number of Jack Nicholson movies, Meet the Focker's (one of the few sequels that was better than the original), and the list could go on, but you only asked for 5.

............................

Concerning Saving Private Ryan...

Just curious...Did ANYONE else want to Beat, Knife or flat out KILL that Son of a BIOTCH (the Clerk) who just allowed his buddy to die despite his pleas for help (near the end of the movie).

NTM... Because of this same SOB (the Clerk who whined), the same German that had a hand in killing their medic, ultimately killed Hanks at the end of the movie!:ahh::willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

Every time I watch this movie I get Pizzed Off at him!!!

BTW...I think I'd seriously consider all three options combined!
