Any deals on 08' C6s in Florida?

Well here in the Miami area I found most dealers are doing Invoice without any haggling. I factory ordered a 2008 Coupe 3LT at invoice 2 days ago from Maroone Chev of West Dade. My MSRP was approx $59K and dealer gave it to me at $52K.

Maybe I try Dade Cty for vette number 8. Last time I checked, Maroone in DelrayBeach had +$5K on their 'stickers'. They will then haggle down to actual sticker.

The tax event happens when you register your car. Regardless of where you buy the car, when you register in FL they politely ask you to write a check for about $3K. It's Florida's roads which you will burning up and wearng out.

The only way you save on the tax is to trade in a car as you only have to pay tax on the difference. But then you lose money when trading in vs selling privately. It's all a conspiracy:banghead:

Right now, any dealer stickers should be coming off! The economy and gas prices have created an environment hostile to cars like the Vette. Corvettes aren't moving except for the folks like us that have been diligently waiting for opportunity.
