Before my water pump and MSD Opti-spark install, John over at Auto XTC hooked up my engine bay with a nice spring steam cleanin' Thanks again John. I also took this time to finally install my AutoXTC dust shields.

They are in Clearwater, off of 118th ave, just west of 49th st. I can't disclose prices, but I believe it's usually 1.5-2 hrs of labor, at around $45 an hr. It all depends on the condition of the engine. If it's an LT-1, he won't touch it unless you are changing out the opti-spark...since water eats the opti for lunch. Give Brad or John a call, 727-556-0335. Tell them Eric sent ya.

That was the perfect time to get the cleaning done! The engine looks great!! I had a '92 and know about the opti-spark blues...:D

Auto XTC is where Thor gets all his work done, and he's got a lot done, so ya know they got to be good

EXCELLENCE speaks for itself. I've been going to Auto XTC since I got my 07 in Dec. 07. Beepster recommended them to me and my wife says their shop is my second home! I like businesses where you feel respect and trust among the people working there. Auto XTC is neat, orderly, clean, and detailed oriented. It is an absolute pleasure to watch John work on my car or others because he treats the cars like he owns them. My hat's off to these folks-John, Larry, and Brad. It is an honor to call them friends and I would recommend them to anyone searching for extreme service and quality.
By the way, I like the pics. The engine looks brand spanking new!!:thumbsup:

I've actually been dealing with autoxtc for quite a few years. Even when I was just buying replacement emblems back in the day, they treated me like a fellow corvette owner.

Keep an eye out on autoxtc.com...some new exciting things will be happing there within the next week.

STEAM!!!!! How come I didnt think about that, My LTpoor uses LS1 coil packs , but still needs the low voltage side to work, so Im afraid to use water to clean it, Thanks for the post!!! realllllly really, Its been a pain for me and my spray bottle and 2 rolls of shop towels

here is the cleanest it has ever been (because it was new)

They did some AWESOME good work cleaning it, it looks new!!!

Whoa, that's one wicked setup. How hard was it to convert it to the LS-1 coil packs? I may want to look into that the "next time" the good ole opti goes out again (hopefully WAY down the road).

Ive had 5 LT1 cars, I HATE OPTIS...lol.. It wasent to hard, I got the bailey box ( I was looking into the deltec, but I like the LS1 coil idea better) Greg installed it while the motor was out, I dont think it would be to hard to do in the car, it looks pretty simple.

I was going to throw up a sneak peak, but I forgot the files at work...I'll try to throw up the animated gif tomorrow that I made to demo it for the guys.

Pretty much. I specialize in print work as an art director for CEA Marketing, but do some web design as well. I'm hooking up AutoXTC since they've been taking care of me for quite some time. I love the bartering system. :dancer01:

Here's a little sneak peak for ya'll. I was hoping to have it done already, but I'm having to do some research on the coding for the photo gallery...which isn't pictured, sorry. :banghead:
