Edison Festival and Corvettes at Crafts

2Vettes

New member
Our club has been trying to break into the Edison Festival of Light for a few years now. This is a Ford event (Henry was a friend of Thomas Edison...etc) Anyway, last year and again this year we are having a corvette show during the Edison event. Here's a link to the Edison website which shows all the events building up to the "light parade" Feb. 16th (This is a very big event). The other link is for our show on Feb 17th. Why not come down for the parade and show your vette, too. Last year we had over over 80 vettes, I think.

Linda,

Any idea how many are registered to date?...This show last year was a big success - hope you have a great turnout this year as well....

Armando

So far we have about 45 registered. We're anticipating more as time draws near. If people just want to enter w/o registering all that is needed is a donation for the Harry Chapin Food Bank. This show is in conjunction with the Craft Festival so there will be a ton of craft booths, vendors and other activities for the family.

Thanks for the update, Dom! It should be fun with the vettes and the other vendors  Hope some of the local forum members will attend :dancer01:

I had my Yahoo Jukebox set on random play and while I was looking at this post Taxi started playing. Must be a sign, I'll do my best to make it down.

We will be there...last year's show was great and no doubt this year will be just as good if not better...

Where do you enter for the show? Where is the registration booth? I might take 2, any food donation wiil be o.k.? Can goods the best I am sure! Please advise!

The entrance will be at Edwards & Hendry. The registration tent will be at Dean & Edwards. The show is from 11AM to 3 PM and the entry fee is a donation to the Harry Chapin food bank. It can be canned goods, paper products or a check made payable to the Harry Chapin Food Bank. As for the amount. let your heart be your guide.

So far weather is holding up well for this event...cold front moving in Sun. night but may slide into Mon. which will be better for all of that shine coming to the show...
