This Saturday is Citrus County Corvette Club's annual show held at Crystal Chevrolet in Homosassa. Three from our club are going. Anybody else from "our" Forum attending? :dancer01:

Connie and I will be there. Hopefully. Supposed to pick up my car from the shop tomorrow morning....... We're hoping to head down that way on Friday evening and spend the night at one of the motels near Crystal River. I don't think we could handle getting up 4am on Saturday and driving down there for the show. Been WAY to crazy around here and we're teetering on the edge of insanity already.

But it SURE will be good to get away for a day....... Looking forward to seeing you all again. Now, where the HECK did I put our name badges..... :banghead:

Just picked up the car and everything is A-OK. We'll be there!

Connie and I are checked in at the Days Inn just north of Crystal River. Parked next to a nice yellow C6 and there is a sharp looking blue C4 from Indiana up at the front of the parking area.

Took me a while to clean off the dead mosquitos plastered all over the front of the C5Z. They are pretty thick here at the motel as well.

Just had dinner (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) at the Denny's here and checking the net. Should be real nice weather. Low in the 60s overnight and high around 84 tomorrow.

Hope to see you all there!

Great show...better still was seeing so many from this post there...It was great to finally meet Rich and his better half...Kap as usual it was great to see you and your better half...Pres and better half was also there...there were some others but could not tell who they were since there were no CFla dash plaques or visible name tags out...Maybe I get to meet rest of gang next week at Steak & Lube...

:welcome:
Thank you all for coming. Somehow I had the most fun at the show this year.
Maybe it was the smaller show with the dealer mandated 155 car maximum to have the show on a Saturday while they were open. OR maybe I am just more fun this year, but it was worth the work to put it on for me personally.
See you all soon.

Armando heard you took first in your class. Way to go!!!

Connie and I had a GREAT time at the show! Got to talk to a lot of people, but heard some complaints from some that they couldn't find us because we were never at our car. Got sunburned, again. Just call me "Lobsterhead".... Connie didn't get a bit of sunburn somehow. :shrug01:

Lots of really nice cars there and everyone seemed excited to be there.

Any of you coming down from the north to go to this show really need to stop in at Charlie's in Crystal River for dinner afterwards on the way back home. The food there is EXCELLENT! It will be on the west side of the road, just before you get to the mall when you are heading back up north.

Oh yeah, congrats to everyone who bought home prizes!

Trophies

Our club (Bay Area) had three cars there and brought home 3 trophies!!! Dan Kirkconnell got a first with his super clean '63 split window, George Cramer and his beautiful '62 also got a first and then there is "Lil'Brat" that can't get out of second! Due to the fact that a custom took first, I don't feel too bad tho getting second - again.........:shrug01:
