• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

I'm not sure what took me so long to find this site! I was on one of the other forum sites and there was a link. I've owned a slightly tricked up '78 for about five years and just recently found and bought "the" car I've always wanted which is an '04 Z06/Z16! It had 1450 miles on it when I bought about a month ago!! Hard to believe that a car like that never saw the open road. For what it is worth, I'm one of those guys that believes that Vettes were made to be driven and I drive both of mine, rain or shine! I belong to the Jacksonville Corvette Club but don't participate as much as would like to. I'm looking forward to "checking in" to this site on a daily basis and hope to meet other members at Vette shows and cruise-ins in the North Florida area.

:welcome::welcome::welcome: from another Z16 owner (#1995)!

You will find that everyone is going to ask you to post some pics of your rides. I maybe the first but won't be the last.

You also might want to take a look at the Z16 forum. Obviously, a much smaller group but good people there too. www.z16.org

As well, :welcome:to our little family:dancer01:

As stated, pics are a necessity:thumbsup:

Glad to have you aboard. It's a great group of people here:wavey:

Hey :welcome: to the Gang. My wife and I were up your way last summer celebrating our anniversary. You live in a beautiful area. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Rich...I've noticed a "contributer" badge next to several of the welcome replies. Since the site does not require a fee to join, do you accept "donations" to cover the costs or running the site? How do I contribute to the upkeep?

Pat,

Actually, if you click on any of the Contributor medallions, it will take you directly to the "paid subscriptions" page.

I do appreciate the thoughtfulness......... :thumbsup:
