We are screwed again!!!

...Not in my world my friend!

I was talking to my 15y/o daughter a few days ago discussing some of the stuff going on with our economy, I realized that she is being indoctrinated into the social mindset espoused through the media and public school. I don't really think she will totally accept the social engineering we may face, she is way too matieralistic and high maintenence.:lmao:

You know, that web site has one of those "credit booster" ads at the bottom, and yesterday, while listening to Schnidtt (schnitt?), he was griping and boo hooing about the banks not lending money!

Now he has a point that the $$ we gave them should be loaned to those qualifying for it instead of being hoarded or used to throw Las Vegas parties (see how fast Wells Fargo backed out of that one when they got caught with thier hand in the proverbial cookie jar?:rofl1:)

I also agree that we should never have bailed them out without some sort of major overview! But we did.

But just like GM's bailout, if they contnue down the same path they were on before, they will be in the same boat ther were in before very shortly!

We need to STOP the sub prime loans, the loans to people that just shouldn't have them in the 1st 10 places, and watch spending on the part of our government.

GM is now talking more layoffs/cutbacks. So much for saving jobs with all that $$$$

If these idiots want to stimulate the economy, as one guy said yesterday, stop witholding for a month or 2 or 3. People will have more $$ and will stimulate the economy on thierown.

The down side to that is, unless we as a country decide to become sudcenly more cost conscious, start saving more and do less borrowing, when it ends, and it will end, a vast majority of the Ameriucan buying public will be that much more in debt.

We have to do something to stop the bleeding!

A big part of that would be for government to set the tone and start living within a mandated budget!
Stop printing $$$ to balance the damend thing!
When the $$ gone, so are the jobs/positions.

Sorry, but that is the way it has to be!

We simply can not allow government (state, local or federal) to continue on with thier eratic spending. They have to gain control of thier budgets first before they can do a thing to help us with ours!

For me, I'll continue to sarifice some (it hasn't hurt that much yet), pay off all my debts, and commit to a debt free lifestyle in the future.

When the system does collapse, At least I'll be able to save enough beer cans to pay my taxes and insurance...I hope?

Hell yeah! If the government TRULY wants to stimulate the economy, roll back ALL taxes by at least 50 percent. THAT will do it..... But no, they want everyone ELSE to sacrifice......

“Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them.”

Nice "stimulus" bill they passed, and our gov supports it. Did you hear the broad talking to Barry today in t myers? "I need a car and a kitchen".

Ahh who cares, the kids will have to pay for this not us.

And just what sort of special interest giveaways and wasteful government spending are included in the so-called “Stimulus Package”? To name just a few...

- $4.19 billion in slush funds for ACORN, the left-wing advocacy group best known for allegations of voter fraud during the 2008 presidential campaign
- $600 million to buy brand new cars for government bureaucrats
- $335 million for adult sex workshops (one of the few line items which could conceivably deliver "stimulus" )
- $150 million for honeybee insurance
- $2.8 billion for the US Department of Agriculture in a misdirected program more likely be spent to build unnecessary broadband internet services in urban areas than in the rural areas that lack service.

These are just a few examples of the shameless feeding frenzy taking place in halls of Congress today with this so-called “Stimulus Package.”

This trillion-dollar debt and spending scheme will provide little or no stimulus, but will put each and every American household in at least $6,700 of new debt, to be paid by our children and grandchildren

Not that it did any good but I did email our senators as well as the three RINOs. At least I'm on record will the rest of the thinking Americans.

Here is some good viewing.

I love you Barack

Oh and Henrietta was offered a house to stay in (by a private citizen) until they get on their feet but has yet to take up the offer. I guess it’s better to hold out for the house that Barack will just give them.

Milton Friedman (author Capitalism and Freedom) schools Phil Donahue. This should be required for all students but that could never happen in our gubmint schools.

I think you are correct Vette Boy. I have been thinking that demonstrations are not too far off. I too hope it does not happen but I am really getting concerned about the socialist changes that are being made very quietly.
The stimulus package has a couple.

No demonstrations. The people who do that are too much in love with Barry. No matter how bad it gets they will be thankful Barry kept it from getting worse. The rest of of are too busy trying to make things work to smash and grab flat screens and beer.

Oh, I don't know.... I think a lot of people who voted for Obama did so expecting something that will be impossible for him to deliver. When that happens, they will likely get PISSED and probably blame everyone else.

Probably going to be a very rocky road ahead.

ps, I still have some guns for sale.... :hehehe:

I need my FL ccw first, I only have an Indiana one. They don't reciprocate do they?

Why?

When I need it, then it will no longer be concealed, right?

Thus making the CCl an non-necessity:D

Seriously, if the chit hits the fan, I ain't worried about a CCL. Some coc***cker will probably declare martial law and all bets will be off anyway:thumbsdown:

If you are legally a Florida resident, you don't need a CCW to buy gun in Florida. When buying from a dealer, it just goes smoother since you can take the gun home with you the day you buy it. As long as you pass the NICS "government permission" test.

Buying from a private seller, like myself, I just need to know you are a Florida resident.

The two things I keep thinking about is if Obama got shot or we had another 9-11 .This country would go to hell in a handbag. The Gov't would have to call in Russian troops to restore order. And the BBQ would be called off.
