    C3 tires, interesting round things

Goldie has never been an everyday driver, just when I want to enjoy her and feel real good. Haven't been real happy with how she's been running of late (ride a bit rough, idle feels kinda weird, steering wheel at 11 o'clock and a slight pull to the right during normal driving. Now keep in mind...

    Allignment issues............

Was tinkering a month ago or so and found that the pivot arm from the clutch was up and out of the bracket on the extreme L side. I pulled it back down into the bracket and tightened down the bolt but in the process it seems to have changed the front end allinment. Wheel now sits just a bit...

    Powder coating..........

Is there such a thing as "high temp" powder coating? As some of you know my 502 Cheby crate motor valve covers (alum) were blasted and powder coated Cheby Orange after I bought them. Recently I have noticed that they are showing signs of bubbling in the powder coat. Engine is running...

Need a little help gang. My 02 TrailBlazer had the check engine light come on yesterday. Local auto parts store and the mini computer showed a code of P0440 with a read out saying EVAP emission control system but provided no other info. Kinda feels like an O2 sensor to me but I believe...

    Vertical ignition shilds?

Has anyone adapted or tried to adapt vertical ignition shields from a 72 (or so) small block to a 72BB? I think it would clean up the rats nest appearance of the plug wires. They look like they might be a direct fit to the 72 BB ignition shield cover.:shrug01:

    Where is it?

I am looking for (searching for) per the 1972 Chevy Service Manual "an interlock switch actuated by the wiper arm prevents the wiper door form closing until the blades park. The switch is located in the cowl plenum; right side". OK just where TF is the cowl plenum, right side?:shrug01::shrug01:

    Wiper system....

I guess you're never done but that's OK too. I've had Goldie for well over a year (come to think of it closer to two years) and the wiper lift system and wipers have never played well together. If I simply turn on the system from the wiper switch the wiper door will not open, hence the wipers...

    Securing new inner door panels

Early C-3 owners. How have you handled getting good secure attachment to the door frame with the door panel? I've had fit problems from go. The panels are reproduction and of good quality but the attachment pads, although they align well, rarely secure the two parts together tightly as they...

    A/C rear Oring

I need some assistance here. My 72 has a rear Oring in the compressor that's leaking. My A/C shop says they can replace it if I can find it. I have the Oring kit with about 12 Orings but it does not contain the (approx) 4" Oring for the back end of the compressor. The normal suppliers for...
