Tracy,

Whats are the pro's and con's of going with the 3.90's or 4.10's?
How will either on work with future mods?

Not many cons with the 3.90's w/MN6 cars, unless you are targeting 700-800 rwhp or more. (we put 3.42's in the 1,000 RWHP Z06 we built for top speed capabilities) The final ratio of the MN6 (both 5th & 6th are overdrive) makes the 3.90 wild for acceleration & still reasonable fuel economy at freeway speeds. The 4.10's would be more for a track car that wants to be in the peak power band through most gears, but will be a little high on RPM at 75-80 cruise & fuel economy will suffer a bit more than the 3.90's.

With either, dead stop acceleration will be a traction issue, but practice & the right tires will help. Remember, the stock clutch is only good for only so much abuse.

With 4.10s, you really don't even need first and second gear in normal driving.... :)
