Since we put on the B&B's way back in '06, I've read about the dreaded "drone" that some say they experience. Never happened.....until yesterday! Star & I were headed back from Homestead (visiting her son) and decided to come back the scenic way; up SR-27. Up ahead were a couple on their two Hogs. I've always liked the sound they make until I passed them! When I was along side of the females bike our two exhausts seemed to be in harmony and holy cow what a drone. It seemed to fill the inside of "Lil'brat"! We had the top up (what else when she packs?) and it bounced around something awful! I quickly got ahead of them and looked back and they were speeding up! She must have like the sound 'cause she tried to get along side of us. No way! I took it up a notch and they stayed in my rear view. Now I know what a "drone" is! :vette:
