Default Obuma and the Deficet

http://www.dickmorris.com/blog/2010/...00b-obama-14t/

Please read the entire article. Here's am exert:

"President Barack Obama is being disingenuous when he says that the budget deficit he faced “when I walked in the door” of the White House was $1.3 trillion. He went on to say that he only increased it to $1.4 trillion in 2009 and was raising it to $1.6 trillion in 2010.

Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) might have said, “You lie,” but we’ll settle for “You distort.”

(As Mark Twain once said, there are three kinds of lies: “lies, damn lies and statistics.”)

Here are the facts:

In 2008, George W. Bush ran a deficit of $485 billion. By the time the fiscal year started, on Oct. 1, 2008, it had gone up by another $100 billion due to increased recession-related spending and depressed revenues. So it was about $600 billion at the start of the fiscal crisis. That was the real Bush deficit.".

we currently borrow about $130 billion a month now.

I find it hard to believe that anyone could be that stupid to drive this country into financial ruin by accident.

I keep hearing the term progressive. I don't know if this is a game Fox is playing but I think they are trying to change the term liberal to progressive as a show of power and influence. Screw that. Sorry for the rant.

At best Obuma is a socialist. Take a look at that word and you'll understand exactly what he's trying to do. He would like to nationalize banks, industry, and in my opinion eventually disavow the national debt.

For anyone that cares to watch, he will continue to display his agenda throughout his term. He could care less about the debt.

The term "Progressive" came along long before FOX or even TV.

Quote:
Progressivism was the reform movement that ran from the late 19th century through the first decades of the 20th century, during which leading intellectuals and social reformers in the United States sought to address the economic, political, and cultural questions that had arisen in the context of the rapid changes brought with the Industrial Revolution and the growth of modern capitalism in America. The Progressives believed that these changes marked the end of the old order and required the creation of a new order appropriate for the new industrial age.

regardless if we call it socialism, fascisms or progressivism one thing it is not is capitalism and the American way of life.

I did not mean that progressive was a new term or idea. I meant it's new in the respect that Fox has been throwing it around for a few weeks and have replaced the word liberal with progressive. I watch Fox all the time but for reasons stated I don't like the word. I say call a Socialist a Socialist.

Fascism is also a term not used but should be. As you say whatever we call it, it's not American nor in any way is representative of this country.

He's now blaming Republicans for holding up health care and I can just see the uninformed nodding in agreement. What happened to his majority in the Senate? This would really be funny if it wasn't so serious.

Off topic. Is that the Anniversary Special you have? Nice Vette.

It could be because they (progressives) have not been shy at all about using that term lately and it helps people understand that in political terms it doesn’t mean progress in a way some might expect. People hear “progressive” and they think wow, that sounds good.

The Dems (who are now filled with progressives) are after healthcare because our gubmint has reached the end of what they can spend from borrowing and taxing. They need a new money stream and seizing our healthcare money is a big jackpot for them. That’s one reason why they wanted our money now without any benefits for 5 years.

When the healthcare money seizure started to go south, they quickly started to look for other ways to get their fix. That’s why they have been talking about helping themselves to a portion of our 401Ks. They also started to float the VAT scheme again.

One other interesting course of events that has happened is taking us out of the race for the moon by canceling manned space flights. Now Barry used his big budget cut as a smoke screen but think of it again as our gubmint needing a fix of money.

The U.S. is broke and like I said before we borrow $130 Billion a month (not counting any more increases in spending or our interest rates going up).

* Obama needs to borrow almost half of next years budget and for the first time SS will now start sending out more than they take in.

* China is getting tired of loaning us money

* There is a enough Helium 3 on the moon to power the earth for thousands of years and is the key to future space exploration

* The U.S. is leading in the race to return to the moon and the Helium 3

* China wants what the U.S. has and the U.S. has what China has

* We have a president that is short sited and driven by his ego and desire to transform this country.

Not hard to add it all up and it's not like a Dem president hasn't sold out this country to the Chinese before.

It’s only about the money.

Yes, that’s my 03 AE vert, thanks!

Well said Coastal. We could rant for hours but in the end we'll have our opportunity to speak when we fill out our ballots. Our problem then will be deciding who to vote for. We may not have much to choose from. Depressing isn't it?

Progressive? As opposed to what?

I guess the Dems trying to label themselves as the "Smart Party" (meaning everyone else is just DUMB!) wouldn't have worked too well....

Actually you are right on target. The "Progressives" seem to believe they are above Republicans, Democrats and our Constitution.

It was just a few days ago that the White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel called a group of Democrats “f***ing retarded”.

It was conservatives who came out and objected to his remarks and demanded an apology, not Obama, Pelosi and Reid. It just goes to prove that this administration believes the Dems are stupid too.
