OK, yeah, this isn't about a Corvette. But I bought one of these Durangos back in October and I have to admit that this is quite an impressive ride. 710 horsepower coupled with all wheel drive is quite an experience when you push the GO pedal all the way to the floor. Honestly, a couple of times it felt like it almost got away from me. And this is a VERY heavy SUV we are talking about. But you really forget all about that when driving it. Very remarkable throttle response and handling. And you can carry LOTS of groceries in it, too. 😂

That's a great looking SUV, my daughter had an R/T about 4 years ago. I wish she had kept it. She had exhaust manifold bolts breaking and leaking that ran about a thousand dollars and apparently it's a common problem. I'll bet some ARP bolts would have fixed that but she traded it in on a Jeep Cherokee L.

I don't see your C-5 in the garage. You didn't trade it in did you?

How's the power compared to the C-5? I was guessing you were making 750-800 horsepower with it after you got the fuel parameters figured out.

No, I still have the C5 Z06. Acceleration seems pretty comparable between the two. I had it out on Saturday for the car get together at the local Hardee's, and wound it up a little bit on the way home. But it didn't seem like it went into boost, so I need to check that out. Might have been that I am just not used to driving the vette much. I mean it accelerated really great, but I didn't feel the "next level" when boost kicks in. Too busy keeping my eye on the road to look at the boost gauge at the time.

Controls and internals are pretty nearly identical to the Jeep Grand Cherokee I traded in, so I feel right at home behind the wheel. No complaints so far with it. And it actually is quite fun to drive.
