:wavey:

Gates-open at 9:00 AM, with Time-Trials scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, and Eliminations to begin at noon:
afterwards, anybody interested can meet-up at SONNY'S B-B-Q at the intersection of I-75 & Rt. 64 for a late-lunch, before going-back to the track for Saturday-evening's action (regularly-scheduled SUMMIT RACING EQUIPMENT Points Series bracket-racing ), or going home to watch 500 laps under the lights at Bristol later that night.

I'm planning on making the drive.

:dancer01:  :wavey:

We have Corvette-exclusive pit-spaces next to the fence, alongside Rt. 64, and somebody usually brings a pop-up tent:
if you want-to race and have questions, look me up..... I'm the fat-guy in a Yellow tank-top and a Yellow JEGS-cap during time-shots, but during Eliminations, I wear a Red, White & Black RevXtreme crew-shirt
(I keep telling Tracy Lewis, "ya cain't polish a turd....." )

We will offer free drag-raceing school to any that haven't went down a drag strip or need a refresher course as well. Don't want to race & just want to see how your car does in the 1/4 mile? Test & Tune is going on at the same time so just get with all the corvettes & we will give you the instruction on how to be safe & some simple etiquite & track rulles.

We gather along the North fende that runs along 64, just look for all the vettes & introduce yourself.

If you want to test & tune it is only $10, if you want to race in the Challenge it is $20. $100 to win, $25 runner-up.

..... after waiting-out a 2+ hour rain-delay between the Round-of-7 and the Semi-Finals this afternoon, Kevin Roberts emerged victorious over a field of 19 racers, beating Tracy Lewis in the Finals today:
the other Semi-Finalists were veteran Craig Gingerich, and 2nd-timer R.J. Gordon, all in C5s.

I just got-in the door (I left before 6:00 AM ) after driving 74+ miles home through an impending thunder & lightning storm, and will post a full report with pictures tomorrow (Sunday 26 August ), when I get a chance:
the track's computer had difficulty printing-out the Points Standings for me, and BMP will forward them to RevXtreme later this week, to be sent to Redgar for updating the website.

Yesterday at BMP, Kevin Roberts defeated Tracy Lewis in the Final Round of RevXtreme Corvette Challenge Series event, surviving a 2+ hour rain-delay, and a field of 19 entries.

This tube-chassised, C5-bodied cars was seen in the pits, and made a few shake-down runs, but I didn't see/hear his times-

This C5 sounded fairly-stout, but broke the rear-end before making a run:
I heard the RevXtreme gang already had the parts & pieces to get him back on-track in their shop

we had several newcomers to our Series this day, including a few C5 ZO6s:
spank me if I have the wrong-names with the wrong-cars, I was kinda-busy.....

Under threatening skies, the Quarter-Finals were run, with Kevin Roberts (far-lane ) beating Larry Broadly's C6

We waited-out the storm in the Lewis' motor-home, which they graciously offered to all Corvette-racers who chose to stay in hopes of seeing the rest of the race concluded, then Lewis (far-lane ) and Gingerich squared-off
