$500 to blow, what should i get?

I have a 06 a6 with 6500miles, only mod done on the car is the B&B route 66's.
Got the car used with 4500miles dont know if a tune was already done on the car, it runs like a beast as it is, so dont know if a tune would help me.

So what performance mod would help me the most for $500?
 
I know..... The standard answer is Hookers & blow


$500.00 is not lot.... A K&N filter & change all the fluids to Royal Purple
 
I found a used Vararam for $275. I may just end up with getting headers and a tune. Maybe i can get lucky and find some used headers local. Figure headers and install with a tune would run around $2,300.
 
My personal opinion would be to leave it as is and blow it with your better half...

Sentimental, I know...
 
JCswm is right. Get the K&N CAI. Don't know about Royal Purple since I've never used it but I guess since it's a Chevy you could probably lubricate the engine with pi$s and it will still not die.:crazy03:
