92 corvette flashing security light

I have a weird hot start problem. Car Will start fine in the morning but once hot you only have one chance to start it. I looked at it, and I am having an injector pulse issue. Good spark/ fuel but no injector pulse! vats is not by passed and key is recent and vats is working. I have the security light does com on and off while driving and sometimes flashes usually while car is in motion. People have told me tps, replaced that what next ? I am a car dealer and I believe the car is possessed. Maybe ? engine grounds?? What about the computer. I believe it is the original 1992 six speed one?

Ugh, electrical problems in these cars scare the crap out of me. Yeah, checking the grounds would be a good idea. Heck, don't just inspect them, CLEAN and TIGHTEN the ground connections so you can rule them out completely.

Also ck the positive battery cables(starter & accessary 92 delco batteries had a post leak issue. the acid will get in the cable ends and cause havoc .

battery cables

I replace the cables a few years ago, I am leaning towards the computer. It looks to be original. The car started this morning, but no will not start now I have no injector pulse.

Ok you have replaced the tps but I think your problem is the wiring harness. I have had experience with this issue and it comes down to the fact that the grounds are absolutely critical. If you follow the wires from the tps back into the large wiring bundle that the other wires go to you will find that they all come together in the large wire run under the injectors. If that ground bundle is corroded then you are not making ground and the ecm does not recognize the tps or any of the other sensors in that bundle so it shuts down the fuel to the injectors. The second issue I had was that the wires were so small that time and temp had broken them in the connectors and along the wire going to the large bundle and I had to replace the wires and put new pins (salvaged from a junk yard in the connectors. Then clean the grounds on the frame rail on each side of the engine remove the battery and clean the two grounds hidden behind it. Now go under the car and find the grounds that go to a stud on the bell housing and clean them. The flat braided cable is the ground for the ecm. After all that disconnect the ecm and use a contact cleaner (Be sure to disconnect the battery when you do this) on the pins and sockets to get rid of any corrosion there. Oh and on top of the opti which you can see if you look under the tps is a connector that gets corroded and needs to be cleaned.
