You guys are making me salivate and drool too much. Oh well, better to drool on myself rather than yhe vette!:nonod: :nonod:

Congratulations on your new Vette. I think we will have very similar cars.
I did not get the chrome wheels. Got mine from CCW. Look at my avatar so you can drool a little more until delivery.
Merry Christmas and I hope you get sunny weather for your drive.
Lou

Yeah, I think GM wants to much for their chrome wheels. I considered it for the C6 we ordered, but it didn't make sense to get them. I figure when the tires get worn out, we'll buy some aftermarket chromes at a much more reasonable price. I think I figured that with the value of the standard wheels in the upgrade to GM's chromes, they wanted something like $2400 or so for that wheel upgrade. Ouch!

he chrome wheels were 1800 extra over the stock rims. But since I bought the car with a GMID number, I was able to save about 7200.00 off the sticker or about 400.00 over dealer's invoice. So the chrome wheels were an added luxury. It's going to be beautiful.:crazy03: :crazy03:

I see that Delivery Bay # 2 is empty. Maybe we will see yours there soon. The other 5 don't match your description.

I called the NCM today to see what bay they were putting my vert in. She said that with the 8 deliveries on Thursday and 5 on Friday that she couldn't tell me which bay my car would be in. She did say that my car was the only Monterrey Red vert that day (Friday Dec.22) and that the car would not be placed on the floor until sometime Thursday pm. As we will be flying at that time ( I'll be drooling all over myself I'm sure), I won't be able to drop a line to you guys. Thanks again for all your support. Mark.
PS: A complete report will follow along with pics as soon as I figure out how to use the photobucket features.

The cameras are live 24/7. So I guess we will all be looking Thursday night to see your new baby!
Congrates again and I hope the weather is great for the drive back.
Enjoy:crazy03:

First Vette?

I would love to be able to pick up a new one at the factory!!! :crazy03:

Is this your first one?

I bought my first one right off the showroom floor in 1967 and haven't been without one since. I was 27 yrs. old at the time and now at the ripe young age of 67, I own 2, an '86 and an '03! When you get back hook up with a club in your area and enjoy it to it's fulliest! :dancer01:

Delivery Bay #4 has similar Vette..... Can't wait to see yours.

It will depend on which camera type you are watching at the NCM.

If you click on "Delivery 4" then you are watching the streaming video and would need to hold down the Alt key and press Print Screen. You would then open your favorite graphic application and paste the screen shot there.

If you click on "Pop-up" then you are watching a refreshing video image. It auto refreshes about every 10 seconds. Here you would Right-Click and select "Save Picture As".

Hope that helps. :)
