Scully's BEAUTIFUL 66 stinger .................Let me tell you folks something straight up................the show was great...........Great people, beautiful Vettes....and nearly all who showed............some very hard work put into prepping their car's.BUT........I gotta tell you my personal feeling of regret for Bill and his 66 Stingray............ NOT one of the Stingray's there was better than Bill's.
His judges rated his paint at a 3 out of 5. Other than Scully's vette having the 67 style big block 427 hood......every thing else is correct for his 66. So let's take off 1 point for the hood. That's it folk's...........the point system.
Don't know how many of you in this forum are paint specialist.......But this member is.........w/ national awards top flight 3 times 3 year's in a row.
I personally feel this judge OWES Bill the explanation of what a 4 or 5 in paint is compared to the 3 he gave bill.
In my personal opinion as far as the judging went..............it was terrible just as are most concour's show's.
My car personally............well when one is dumb enough to enter their car in a C5 class that includes ALL C-5's..........Stock, Orginal's, Semi custom's, Full Customs, Modifieds race, you name it and if it's a C5 OH WELL. :rofl1:LOL
Again, the show was great,,,, the people we met GREAT,,,,,,,,,, weather was great........... the trophy thing means little to us. Seeing Scully's Stingray again be over looked but worse yet knowing favortisium again towards the fellow competitors car's.............ain't right.:NoNo:
