Aluminum Wheels/Chrome Dip

I bought a set of aluminum wheels from CCW but I am having a heck of a time keeping them clean of water spots. Does anyone know if it is possible to chrome dip aluminum wheels?

I have seen a set of 85-86 stock rims that had been chromed (and they looked really good) but I never was able to find out who the owner was to see where he had it done at.

Thanks. I think I am going to give it a try.

There is a product called Zoop Seal it is for untreated aluminum. The bikers like to use it. Here is a link to it, I have never used it myself. But I may try some on my C5 wheels.

Let us know if you try it. Or the chrome. Good luck

Thanks. I'll post what I end up doing. It will be sometime in August.
The car is in New Jersey and I am in Florida for the month of July.
Will be towing the baby back here end of September for the winter.
