• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

With a very sad heart The Sun Coast Corvette Club lost one of it finest members Roy Dingeldein this week.
The club, friends and his family were at the service last night. After the service the Sun Coast Club did a caravan with Roy’s corvette leading the way to his house. We had about 40-70 Vettes sitting in front of his house with a moment of silent’s. Then everyone started their cars and revved em up in honor of Roy. His neighborhood was shaking from all the Vettes roars….I’m sure Roy could have heard us from up above.
Then we did another caravan to one of Roy’s local hangouts. We all had dinner and drinks remembering Roy’s moments and the life he lived.

In loving memory of Roy, you will be missed by your family, friends, and the Sun Coast Corvette Club which he loved and cherished very much.

So always remember to be kind to everyone because you never know when it’s your time or the ones you love. Life’s too short so live it to the fullest and make sure when it’s your time to go that you’ll have 70 + Vettes show up at your house to honor you with love and respect.

You can see the story and Roy at http://www.suncoastcorvette.com/
Soon they will post pics. of the ceremonies events under “past events photos”.

Man I'm sorry to hear that.:( It's always tough to lose a Corvette brother, even If I didn't know him personally. My thoughts go out to Roy's family and friends.

Read this and the write up you guys did in the SCA news.

It truly brought a tear to my eye and a lump in my throat to see the bond that was truly there.

RIP

Thanks for the kind words.
It’s really nice to belong to the Corvette family but it’s also nice to belong to the Sun Coast Corvette family too. They sent A beautiful flower arrangement, made an amazing DVD of Roy with his SCA family and pictures when he was at the shows and outings.
Mike (the pres) did a outstanding contribute at the ceremony, and they also set up the caravan march in his honor, and not to mention some of the SCA members would bring him food, take him to the hospital and they really looked after him like a family member.

It’s hard to repost to this thread but it you would like to just say R.I.P. that would be great.

R.I.P

Thanks everyone and GOD BLESS,
TK
