American Hydrocarbon has been contracted to make my LS6 beautiful. It'll be Electron Blue both outside and under the hood. A bit expensive but you only live once (or twice or whatever) and..........(pause for effect) I found and purchased all three trunk/storage covers for my C5Z.

By the way wifey has managed to name the C5Z "Peek a Blue".

It takes weeks to for American Hydrocarbon to make the dress up stuff but pictures will be forth coming I promise.:D:thumbsup:

UH-OH ....... Looks like he's got "THE BUG".
CARRIE, QUICK, HIDE HIS CHECK BOOK AND CREDIT CARDS! :lmao::lmao:

they had a display set up with their car that was done to show their work and I was impressed. Theirs is a navy blue C5 so the cabron look is a little darker than the electron blue. I really like their stuff and though about having some of my engine plastic done in Lemans blue. I can't wait to see how your's turns out.

Pat (American Hydro) says it'll take about 3 weeks or more to do the work. Mine is gonna be all Electron Blue Carbon fiber look and it should look sweet.

I am a patient man but it's gonna be a long few weeks.:ack2::ack2:

Yeah, man!

We'll all be waiting for pics when you get the stuff installed.

Congrats on the Z
That's where my underhood stuff came from

I hope some things have changed, I had a lot of issues with the valve covers and I had the stock ones on more then the blue. However he did back his product. 3 alwaysturned into 5 weeks.

Hey Rick,

How the hell are you? I thought you'd died and gone to Las Vegas or something.

I really appreciate the input on your dealing with American Hydro. It'll make me aware of times and quality checks too.

BTW what issues did you have with the FRC's? They are the largest solid pieces so I guess they'll show that much more if a defect is present. Please advise me of what to look for. It'll help me greatly and probably cause Pat to remember you too.:lmao::lmao:

Seriously, It's great to hear from you. Was just thinking of the gathering at Joe's a few years ago.

Any idea where Joe and or Rob went too?

Just keep an eye out for small areas with small bubbles. I never had anything lift though. I had trouble with the FRC's. I had a blemish i believe on the battery cover. It was small, just looked like things ran together. When my parts got in these were always behind schedule, Pat would always drive them down.
I'm not sure what happened to the old gang. I live about 40 west of St Louis now so it's hard to keep up. Only a couple still post. Not like the days of past when there was something happening every weekend or just getting together for lunch. Heck, that's how i met most of the gang.

Thanks Rick, I will stay aware and watchful.

I, too miss the old group but I guess that's the natural evolution of things. It's unfortunate.

ST Lewis, Damn, just damn
