Hello to all...I just have a few more weeks finishing up a red '79 with 29,994 miles on it...I have owned 14 vettes, but not this one...it is my wife's 4th..I will be glad to help anyone in the area with their vette...save the wave

:welcome:

Sounds like you will be a valuable asset here with all the experience you have under your belt. I wish I had started earlier with Corvettes. I could put a SERIOUS hoof print on my butt for not doing so..... :banghead: But better late than never.

Welcome to Corvette Florida! I would love to see some pics of the '79.

I used to live in NPR. Graduated from Gulf High in '90.

:welcome:

Nice ride!

Wow, great looking car, would like to see it in person. If your in the area our club "Gulfside Corvette" meets at "Primetime Restaurant" on US 19 in Port Richey the first Wednesday of every month @ 7 p.m. I know all the members would like to meet you and your new ride. Just ask for Rich and I'll introduce you to everyone. Hope to see you there. :welcome:

Looking good!

I have a soft spot for '79s. Best-looking of the post-73 C3s imo.

Is that a factory CB I spot?

Thanks Rich,

Where is Primetime located? I am on the west side of US 19 just half a mile north from Gulfview mall.

Chas, Primetime is north of Gulfview mall on 19 between Ranch Rd and SR52 on the east side of 19 right across from the St Pete Times building. Next meeting is Feb 7th we get there around 6:30 and usually have a bite to eat, foods not bad...beer is better!

Like Gannet, I am interested in your response to his question, ...is that a factory CB you have there Good Buddy?

Hey Rich...wife and I have been looking for a club...we will be there at 6:30pm on the 7th...the cb came with the car...the original antenna still works fine...have the window sticker, build sheet, purchase order, all of the docs...still doing minor fine tuning...changing the intake gaskets again tomorrow...finally found Edelbrocks #7201...yesterday did the headlight switch as the overhead light shut off when wife tried to do lipstick...never happens with me...I go natural...window sticker attached
