Maybe you guys knew about this but it's new to me. I just got my insurance renewal for my wifes Envoy, and now we have to pay The Florida Hurricane Fee which is 1% of the bill. It's true only $4.00 for me but it's just another way for Tallahassee to shove it up our ass. I am so sick of being taxed to death here, they just absolutely nickle and dime you to death. I hate it here.

Als2052, I 'm not much concerned with the $8.00 annual fee to me either, it's just the point with the property tax situatation, and insurance costs they just go ahead and dump more on us.
Just like they do with the phone bills. These are just backdoor taxes. The Congresscritters say they are taxing corporate America to spare us citizens, knowing darn right well corporate America is just going to pass through the taxes to us anyway. It's all just legislative sleight of hand stuff.
