They sure called this winter wrong. It should have been a warm and dry winter. We have had over 6" of Rain in the Tampa area in the last 2.5 weeks.

I have yet to ever see two cold winters in a row and i have lived here since i was born in 63.
 
weather patternss have definately been wierd all over.

NC had the first white christmas in the Ashville are that they've had in 40+ years as I read it while there.

Jesse could probably give us the exact number, but it's been a while.

Wierd patterns indeed!
 
A nice cool GOOD MORNING.......

from the frozen northland. 6 degrees AND SNOW (again) when I woke up.
Retirement can't get here soon enuf for Dotty and me. Gotta be at least a few degrees warmer
down there. I can look for it to get up to about 20 or so today, while 50 or higher
is probable in Florida. COME ON RETIREMENT!

And yet I just read an article in the Tallahassee Democrat claiming that 2010 has gone into the record books as one of history's hottest years on record. :crazy03: Where? Seems to me last Winter was pretty darn cold as well. But of course, the goal of the article is to try to promote that government "Cap and Trade" boondoggle. :rolleyes: Are those clowns STILL trying to claim that global warming caused by human hands is REAL? All of the REAL evidence I have seen indicates that throughout the historical record of this planet, an increase in CO2 in the atmosphere FOLLOWED a warming trend and did not PRECEDE it. Which, of course, indicates that the increase in CO2 was caused by the warming and not the reverse.

Heck, I have heard people argue that global warming CAUSES colder temperatures. Excuse me? Do you not understand what the word "global" means?

The plow came down the street and left me a present of 3 1/2 FEET of snow at the end of the driveway! We got another good foot on the rest of the ground, and it took me about an hour and a half to open up the driveway and get Dotty's car clean. Less than 10 minutes after she left for work, the plows returned and put another foot and a half back at the front of the driveway. When I retire, I am SOOOOOOOOOO getting rid of this house and coming south!
In case I haven't told you.........THIS WEATHER SUCKS!!!!! :yesnod:, and in case I have told you, get over it and deal with the redundancy :rofl1:

I'm sure there must be something that would be incentive enough to get me to move back up north, but darn if I can think of anything right off hand....
