Arsenic in chicken...

I think if we all knew about ALL the additives in our food (from the feed going to the animals and the fertilizer used for plants), we would all swear off eating.

Not to mention that so much of our food is now imported. There is an article in the latest New American magazine about this. Do you know that the last US based producer of vitamin C went out of business in 2006? China has pretty much taken over the entire market on a lot of food stuffs.

Connie and I are about ready to quit going out to eat. Lately just about all the seafood we have gotten has been imported. Even in areas along the coast here in Florida that SHOULD have locally produced stuff.

Generally the quality of prepared food has just been going downhill rapidly.

Not to mention, that at the grocery store, you really don't know where a lot of that stuff came from.

That's very messed up.

Look at this one...... He's doing Coke.

Buy ORGANIC if you can. It cost more but at least you don't have to worry about additves and hormones, etc.

But what if the additives themselves are considered to be organic? :ack2:

I never really did understand those terms when applied to food stuff. "All natural", for instance. What's the alternative? "Unnatural" or "supernatural"? Exactly what products could be considered as "not natural"? Aren't atoms themselves considered as being "natural"?
