B!+(# about the weather ...

Hard to believe we're in Florida. More like a cold, dark, drizzly day in the Northeast. I'm actually thinking of breaking out some old video games and pass the day in a way I haven't done in years. Hot soup and sandwiches. No way I'm going out to play today. :munching_out:

Yeah, I went outside just a couple of hours ago because the temps finally got above 34 degrees and I could shut off those dripping pipes. But even now at 2:30 it's STILL only 35 degrees out there. A friend of mine called me up an hour or so ago and wanted to come over so we could put in the outside faucet for the garage. I asked him if he had been outside. He said he just got up and no hadn't been outside. Well, it was only 34 degrees outside and I told him NO WAY I was going out there messing with water lines and digging in the dirt. Well once his mind got around the fact that this isn't a typical Florida day, he agreed with me.....

Never got out of the 40’s today down here in Naples. It has dropped down to the point where the pool automatically turns on, this is the first time it ever came on during the day.

Yesterday it was in the mid 70’s so I jumped at the chance to drive with the top down. Knowing the forecast, I went to the store for milk, bread and TP so I could hunker down for the weekend. The weird thing is I don’t even use milk and bread! :shrug01:

Even the Keys only got up to 50 today

I hate cold (except in the beer fridge) :D

Another thing I'm getting REAL tired of.... static electricity.... I'm throwing sparks anytime I touch anything metallic. The air is just too dry. I take off my clothes at night in the dark because Connie is already in bed sleeping and it's like watching fireworks with the sparks jumping all inside my clothes.
