C6 Best C6 So Far Poll & Why?

Vote on Best Year and Why?

Yeah, I bought a 2009 Z06 because of improvements in the engine oiling and drivetrain geometry over the earlier versions. In most cases I would think that GM would improve the product with each successive year of development and production. Now this wouldn't mean that successive years were BETTER if the improvements were inconsequential to me, though. But I think most people, if the price were the same, would want to get the latest year they could of any given model/generation.

However, that being said, in my opinion the interior of the C6s is inferior in appearance to that of the C5s. The C6s seemed to get heavier on plastic and lighter on leather. After seeing the interior of the 2007 C6 I just flat out would not have bought the C6 Z06 unless I got the custom leather interior (3LZ option) in it. That was a deal breaker right there.

I baught my 08 Z06 because that's the year I decided to buy my Z06...In addition, it's a 1LZ. I did not give a sh*t about the heated seats, nav that sucks, or any additional features...I wanted the car basically for the mark of the 427 cubic inch motor...It was lighter and less sh*t to worry about breaking...This car is not my daily driver and I didn't buy it to worry about how much resale value I would get if it were a 3LZ...When my warranty is up, I will start modding the car for the track...

I voted for the 2010 because they cut back production so much due to the economy. Based off what I have read there were only 500 Z06's produced that year. Also it was they stopped using Atomic Orange.

I took the liberty of adding "2011" and "2012" to the poll. I couldn't figure out why they were excluded, but then discovered that I had placed a limit on the number of choices in a poll.
