I've always wanted to meet Glenn Smith and see Love is Blue and always thought the time would come. Then Glenn announced he was putting Love up for sale and I thought I would never get the chance.
With cooperation from Mother Nature, I'm pleased to say, Glenn will be bringing Love to the Bradenton Get Together at Hooters, August 23.
I'll be there :thumbsup:

I better go buy some depends. Cause im either going to blow my load, or shat myself when i see this beast come to the show. Cant wait to get what the cobra pig has to say about this car.
 
Glenn says they're still getting drenched and they are without power. Currently running a few things from a generator. He said he still hasn't canceled the trip over, but it isn't looking good right now.
 
We have missed most of the rain over here on the west coast, south of Tampa. So the weather might be OK. Let's hope.
 
Left work in Palmetto, good movie, and a heavy downpour, got home, West Bradenton, and not as bad. Will be going to the show as long as it's not raining at 4:00 - 4:30.
Vicki will be riding along for her first trip to the Hooters Show :thumbsup:

Haven't heard from Glenn so I hope they got power back and the flood waters receding.

Just called Hooters, no car show tonight... Dang. I was going to surprise everyone by finally making it to a local show. Now she is "All cleaned-up and nowhere to go".

Well keep it clean. I've been in contact with Glenn and he said things are working out that
may enable him to bring LOVE over for one of the shows in September. He has a lot of things going on so he said he would keep me advised... Damn Fay Anyhow

 
So is the show being pushed to tomorrow night now?

I remember one of the shows he mentioned if a show got canceled or rained out one night it would be held the next night?

Yep that's what was said, so the Saturday Hooters show would be tonight.
Maybe Tim can jump in and verify this.
I'm at work and the roads were pretty wet driving this morning :ack2: so I'll have a dirty car.
