I know I as well as many of you here already support various charities and such. As well, most of us are bombarded daily with solicitations of one sort or another.
Generally, I don't post or forward requests such as this; however, in as much as this disease has impacted my family personally on several occasions as well as the familly of several close friends; and since the walker/fundraiser is the wife of one of my closest friends of 20+ years (and a guy thats covered my back side more than once in the field during my Law Enforcement career:thumbsup

The above is a link to Karlas' Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer awareness website. They are in the process of raising funds to fight the disease and have thier 3 day walk coming up in about 2.5 weeks.
She does this yearly and it's one of the things she's passionate about. She is just under 50% of her stated goal for the walk.
