hey guys i was just looking for a local corvette forum when i came about this, i just picked up my black 2000 c5 about 2 weeks ago, it came fully loaded with every option and only had 31,000 miles on so im a very happy 18yr old(sept when i have to make my first payment)

so far all ive done is got rid of the magnesium wheels and put on chrome c6 z06 wheels on it with a little more rubber around then the stock 275's....

i had a 05 Neon SRT-4 before so i deffinitly took a huge step foward with this buy

i will post pics as soon as i get home

thanks for the warm welcome guys, from the first time i pulled out i fell in love, there is a few things wrong about the car tho, its needs a new clutch, 2 its throwing a code (po1112, p01113, im preety sure its the iat sensor), and every time i start the car it displays service ride control, but to be honest the price i got the car for i cant complain at all, and with all the little things wrong its still the most favorite car ive ever driven

:welcome: Welcome to the site! :welcome:

Yeah I agree, I wish I had a vette when I was 18. Of course, I might be dead now, too, so maybe it is best I didn't.. :hehehe:

well heres a few pics of the car without the new rims, ill get some recent shots up soon

looks 10x better with the c6 z06

Beautiful vette. I hope you will be a careful driver and don't take too many risks. You've got a long life ahead of you. I wished I could have had a vette at your age too but I would have probably crashed and burned. I waited till I was 53 before I got mine. The COOL thing is age doesn't matter when you're in a vette. Everyone feels like a kid again especially with the top down. ENJOY THE RIDE. Go see the museum in Bowling Green when you get a chance and get the factory tour too. You"ll never forget that experience. :wavey: Mark

to be honest, i drive alot well slower since getting this car, i dont know if it has to do with the fact that im paying for it, or what....but the "how you like driving daddys car" is getting kinda old and the "your so rich" comments are also....none the less ive got my dream car and i plan on keeping it till i pay it off in a couple years and get threw college till i can get a c6:D
