For Sale C5R type hood

Fiberglass hood made as a C5R type hood. No openings are in this hood, it has a gel coat finish only. Originally bought it to go on our second race car but it does not match the hood on the first. $600.00, prefer it to be picked up, shipping could be a little pricey but it can be done.

Would you accept payment with Paypal? And also, assumed that I would pay the shipping costs, are you willing to ship it to Italy?
 
Cool, I would root for this sale. I would love the idea of an aggressive looking Vette running around the streets of Italy making those Ferrari's and Lambo's look over at it.

Isn't pay pal a good way to go? That's what he is offering to use. You get the money and when it credits as good you send the hood. I don't know the guy but I thought Pay Pal was reliable.
 
I would imagine that shipping expenses might equal or exceed the actual cost of the hood. Not sure how fragile that hood is, but I certainly would insure it for ALL expenses involved in trying to get it to the customer.

PayPal is pretty reliable for a seller as long as you can provide a tracking number for the shipment in case there is any dispute later on.
 
Well, no problems guys!! I do not want anybody to trust me if doesn't feel so... And most important, I've found a site were they sell this hood new with a reliable crate to ship for a little add..
 
Everyone is cautious these days doing business on the net. There ARE a lot of people out there pulling scams on the unwary. There is no need to take offense at someone being cautious, nor is anyone accusing anyone else of any wrong doing in having such reservations. Quite frankly, I believe a person would be foolish to not at least be aware of the possibilities and try to circumvent problems as much as possible. If the roles were reversed, I believe you would likely be looking at this in the same manner.
 
I'm not offended...but frankly Paypal protects buyers and vendors, no matter were they live..No problem if KBlanke don't trust, I repeat, I've found the same hood new, with (these time for me) more garantees for the hood safety in shipping. Thank you to all anyway!
