I hate 1 cat in perticular. I had my 07 C6 under my carport friday night, saturday morning i got up at 5 am get ready get in my car at 6:30 am to go to work, crank it up then turn on my air conditioner and POW, BANG, STINK, SON OF A STICKINGING CAT FCKER pissed all over my windshield and the cat piss was in my air conditioning duct. MY car has 650 miles on it and the new car smell was rotton cat piss. I was freaking out. It took till this afternoon Sunday to get rid of the smell. Vinager, amonia, windex, soap, water many many flushings for 2 days. I was sick all day at work saturday because i only had time to hose it off with half of bottle of windex that I had before work. I am buying a coverking car cover immediately. That was my memorial weekend I hope all you members had a better time than myself. :reddevil:

Well, did you look for the scratches? That cat had to get up onto your car, and once it jumped onto that slippery surface, it sure had to try to hold on somehow.

Perhaps some enterprising company should come out with a car cover that works much along the lines of a BIG bug zapper........ :hehehe:

If you know who's cat it is, buy one of those charm rabbit's feet and hand it to them saying "That's from the other cat I caught jumping onto my car." :D

I told the people about their cat and they told me i should put something around my car. Im pissed at them also, very rude people their cars are crap and their house is crap. I am very upset with those neighbors. :banghead:

Neighbors...

don't get me started.:NoNo:
If there were scratches, wouldn't THEY be liable, Especially if they knew it was their cat and still did nothing?
It just SUCKS that YOU have to protect your car from your NEIGHBORS uncontrolled, roaming pets.

Like Chris308...I'd catch the cat and call animal control.

I sent you a PM that works well to get rid of male cat odder.I'm not fond of any critter that violates my property. My neighbors dog would crap on my garage floor and then growel at me .It only happened twice but not a third

Hell, I like dogs as much as the next person, but any one of them that comes onto my property and threatens me is liable to wind up on the wrong side of a 12 gauge.

Note it didn't happen a third time. And I've had a problem from time to time with male cats.I would not go out of my way to harm any animal as long as the animal respects my territory .All 10 acres.:toetap05:

I'm with you here. We have the vette under a carport with a cover but the feral cats in the neighborhood climb up the cover at the back (the cover is getting shredded) and then sleep on top of the car. We find fur and sand but no pee yet. Haven't seen scratches either but they may be there. We have some of those big water pistols we shoot at them with if we see them around the property. The dogs go crazy when they see them, but the cats are smart. They know the dogs are in the fence and they are safe just on the other side or on top of the 6 foot wooden part. It really pisses me off though. Some people left their cats behind when they moved and now there is a population of feral cats that no one owns. Animal control can only do so much and we can't kill them, it's not their fault they're stray. One good point though is the lack of rats the last few years  Guess it's an ok trade-off. Hope you can get the smell out of your vette :ack2:

Your population of birds in the area is probably taking a hit as well. We have birds sometimes roosting on our porch that sometimes get snagged by the cats that come around at night.

I've had lots of cats as pets when I was growing up, but those critters can make a HUGE negative impact on the local native fauna. What people do with their own property is up to them, but they really need to keep them off of my property. Problem is, cats will kill just for the fun of it. Wish there were some owls big enough around here to even the score a bit. :hehehe:
