Clear Hardtop?

I'm not to sure where to post this but it happened at our Dimmitt show so here ya go.

While I was parking cars, a 1963 convertible pulled in and as I was backing him into his spot, I look up and see his head thru the hardtop! I asked him if he had it custom made and he told me that there were only two made. One was for the SAE show in Detroit and the other was for a GM executive. Anybody out there know of this? I would love to find an NCRS judge that can tell me. Here is a picture.

Notice the "radio delete" on the dash.

I saw that car at the wiregrass show a couple of months ago. I asked him about it and he said it was like that from the factory. He showed me the dealer sticker and it was there. One of two 63 has to be worth $$$$$$$

Very :thumbsup:cool.

It's got to be worth a ton!

I have to agree though, other than show and $$$ I'd hate to have driven that around sans AC in Fla. Maybe that's why there were only 2 made?

Too hot in the warm months and too slick to drive in the cooler ones (don't forget the "fog factor."

Now, with AC and tunes, a little tint (as this seems to have) on the top, that could be a killer design:thumbsup:
