Cold November

This has been one of the coldest Novemebers i remember in over 25 years.

Seems the winter will be colder than normal thru Jan, then somewhat warmer and wetter than normal the last half.

Yeah, we've had several nights this month up here in north Florida where it dipped below freezing. Where's global warming when you need it? :hehehe:

Al Gore seems to be kinda absent on this...some of the Northern seaways are iced in the earliest in recent records. Hmmmm....

Yeah..... One of these days they are going to cry "Wolf!" and there really will be one. But no one is going to pay any attention any longer.....

I cant say the G word, Pray to *Obama that it wont happen

:ack2:

* I was totally Joking, one of my dads tenants does that

I love this weather. I keep both windows open and my fan on high lol. One thing people find weird about me though. With all the plates in my ankle and arthritis in both knees the weather doesn't effect them one bit.

I used to have a lot of pain when the weather changed due to various LEO and martial arts injuries.

Started losing weight and taking a supplement and I have very little pain anymore (nothing compared to the past anyway).

The other day, the sky was one of those "it's gonna be colder than a witches tit" gray. Very ominous.

Went into a meeting, came out and I swear I thought it was gonna snow! Damned icy, pissy, "I'm gonna get you just wet enough to screw up your day" sorta rain....:shrug01:

And yeah, it's been cold a few days here, but all in all, I think I'll "tough it out"

Hey....haven't seen the first SNOW FLURRY yet!:dancer01:

:lmao:

We are in Georgia for thangsgiving (my son got in monday from his middle east vacition) & and it is really cold for this pair of Florida boys.
Im about ready to get back to Clw where` its a little warmer then here.

Gordon, that is how I earned my arthritis..lol 23 years of training and competing then breaking bone after bone, I hate the cold.

It seems like it's more like it was when I was growing up here. We usually had a frost by Halloween. It (the cold) bothered me more when I was a kid. Now the heat bothers me more. Of course I could probably lose about 30 pounds...

We leave at 0-Dark-30 on Friday for Georgia. The wifes grandmother passed away in Claxton (about 80 miles out of Savannah).

Believe me the big jacket goes with this boy!

Yes sir, I had it by the time I was 25, ifs from beating sand bags for 12 or more hours a day.

I did some of that stuff when I was much younger. But I quit when my instructor wanted me to beat my hands against a burlap covered board. I had to choose between hardened knuckles, or being able to play keyboards in my band. I chose the latter....

Ah yes, the beloved makiwara:eek:

You chose well grasshopper...I generally won't hit anyone with bare knuckles anyway...caloused or not, the inner structure will still collapse under the right strike:thumbsdown:

Many better ways to strike:thumbsup:

My knuckles, shins and palms are nothing more than thick scar tissue, Next time you see me take a gander at my shins, they are long white lines..lol people always ask, what happened to them.
I was trained by a crazy ol Korean man, He had his ways, I never questioned him. I miss him dearly.

Guess i wont try to mug you then...

Yes sir, don't try, Im so beat up from fighting so long I will just pull a pistol :lmao:

Its chilly out tonight, Our thanksgivings are usually mild weathered.

Same here. Windows are open now and my wife has on flannel pajamas and two blankets and I'm sitting here in shorts and t-shirts. I love the cold.
