PS "Credence Clearwater Revival"!! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Most Memorable: Led Zeppelin in early 70's (Tampa Stadium) & MJ when he was normal (Sunrise Musical Theatre)

Liked to have seen: Who, Beatles & Rolling Stones

Wow, so many concerts in the late 70's, early 80's. Heart, Journey, Reo Speedwagon, 38 Special, etc. Most of which I don't even remember, if ya know what I mean.;) Last and most memorable was about 20 years ago. Saw Lynyrd Skynyrd outdoors in SC. What a show they put on.

Your going to love them, They are a great group a guys, they touched my heart defending a little baby at their show last time I went, Someone took a armband they threw out away from her and they stopped the show and made the butthole give it back to her.

all of the Hank Williams III shows Ive been to because he is a good friend and he reminds me so much of his granddaddy.

But the best live performance I have ever seen in my Life was John Fogerty, I was with my daddy vip for that one, the man does not quit and i swear he sounds better live.

But my all time favorite was being pulled on stage by Johnny Cash when the Highway men played the strawberry festival when I was 6. I will never forget that, June was my Idol and I got to see her up close..lol

PS "Credence Clearwater Revival"!!
I didnt see that Junkie. but I said it to, I never got to see the real thing though Just John

CCR is my ALL TIME favorite group. Didn't par-ticularly like their politics, but MAN
that music was the best ! :yesnod: Back in 1971 when I lived in Maryland, I pulled into
the local Mobil station to fill up the "Beast" (375 horse 1969 SS396 Chevelle)
cartext.jpg

with Premium (10 MPG on a good day), and had CCR on the (are you ready for this.???)
8 track. The kid who worked there, wasn't too swift if you know what I mean, and
he stuck his head into the car and said (and THIS is a direct quote)...
"MAN, Clarence Creedwater Revival .........my FAVORITE group".
Thought that my wife and I were gonna lose it right there......
Andy :wavey:

Nice SS 396!!

Greg is from up there in N. Florida, Lynyrd Skynyrd is the home town band from what I understand.

(ps Navy his 442 still has its original 8track he would rather saw his leg off then take it out)

Kelli your a hillbilly too? My momma is from Haysi Virgina in the Clinch Mountains. Im from good coal mining blood. Same place the Carter family is from, very close to Tennessee and Kentucky.

My dads cracker family has been in Florida since 1735. Nothing special there, they survived mosquitoes:lmao:

I have lived everywhere especially in FLA....Hollywood, Tampa, Orlando, Jax, Tally, Crawfordville, Bradenton beach, Miami, Bristol, Apalachicola just to name a few !!!

But my blood is Tennessee... I was born in Murfreesboro right outside Nashville almost 27 years ago.....whew I know ima youngin compared to most but dang it feels like im old !!!

Concerts are a blast, but when I lived in Jacksonville, Fl., I had a friend that I worked with who was a singer/songwriter. This was in the early 80's. He did some demo's and backgrounds at LEI Studios near Arlington. I hung out over there a lot (before I was married) and got to meet a lot of the locals. Johnny and Donnie Van Zant (.38 Special) used to come by, along with the Molly Hatchet guys, even Lacy Van Zant would come by. He was a trip! Those guys were the bomb! Talk about party?! They invented it.
