Connie's Silver C6

Congratulations Rich and Connie.
Great choice!!

Wish my wife would want one also. She doesn't bother me too much about the car but I am trying to get her more interested. You would think that after having Vettes for over 30 years she would be a little more attached. Good thing I love her.

Well, don't get me wrong.... If it came to a choice between her keeping her Z71 Silverado or the C6, the C6 would be gone. I pity the poor sucker that ever bumps into her truck! :bash:

We took a ride in it today down to St. George, trying to get that 500 miles on the odometer. I drove it to the dealer earlier to have the oil changed and it is a REAL struggle to keep it below 55 mph! I had to stare at the speedometer constantly to keep my right foot in check.

But truth be known, an automatic is just boring to me to drive.... :shrug01: I could easily fall asleep while driving one.

"Janitor" LOL, I just noticed that Rich. How long has that been there? :)

Shhh!! If I put something like "Admin", people will think I know all the answers to all their questions.. :lmao: Nobody bothers the janitor. He is even more invisible than a "shadow"..... :hehehe:

But to answer your question, it's been there for a while now........ ;)

Well the C6 finally got over the 500 mile limit today. I know it will accelerate to at least 120 mph............ :hehehe:

Pure speculation I am sure.

Man I have owned mine for almost 2 months now and have yet to get to a track the highest I have gotten up to is 100

Yeah, Connie said she wanted to be the first one to take it "up to speed" after we got that 500 miles under it's belt. But I had to run by her work and the owner's husband was there. He has had both of his kidneys removed recently and goes to dialysis three times a week waiting for a transplant. So Connie asked him if he wanted me to take him for a ride in the vette. Connie knows Sam likes to drive fast, so she gave me the OK to wind it up for him. She felt he needed a real "pick me up" as things just haven't been going well for him lately...... I don't think a cop would have taken that as a valid excuse, but the chance was worth it to me to see the guy smile like he did.

I just renewed my pledge to St. Jude Hospital and I know what you mean about the smile being worth it.
Your heart is in the right place.

 Bet you were smiling a little, too!

Well, truth be known, the C6 doesn't hold a candle to my C5Z with those twin turbos........... :hehehe: Maybe I need to take that one down to the shop and give Sam a ride in it as well.....

LOL! No worries, Linda...... There's a little "blond" in all of us.. :D

I guess I missed it! Nice job Rich. Glad to see you finally found one for Connie.
Silver is the best color you know. :hehehe:

Thanks Scott. When you get everything pulled together, Connie asked about those photos you took for her of that pin striped C6 at the show in Tampa.

Take care.
