• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Corvettes @ "The Pier"

I sure wish some of these shows would divide the C4 class like they do for C5's. The newer 91-96 C4's with their GS's and Anniversary Editions usually don't see the road unless it's going on a trailer or the show is just down the street.

As a member of the host club I will take your suggestion to the club for consideration.

Thanks. I've been to the Pier a dozen times but always with my Tampa Bay PT Cruiser Club. It's a great setting for a show. I've never had the Vette down there.

Is that Labor Day weekend?

Do you actually get to park on the Pier?

I know your not asking me, but it is Labor Day weekend (Labor day is the following Monday) and YES, you park right on the end of the pier. The pier building itself has lots of places to eat and things to see. You can even fish off the pier if you like.

Wow, that's awesome to park out on the Pier. I live in Tampa so I've been to downtown St Pete many times. This looks FUN!!

It is, and you don't have to babysit the car all day. You can get out of the sun in the Cha-Cha Cocunuts reastaurant at the top of the pier, The Columbia rest in the middle, or the tiki bar on the ground level.

Here's a link to previous a previous SCA Labor Day weekend show with some pictures of all the vettes. The club does not enter the show, or even bring our vettes because we save the space for show entrants. It normally sells out!
