• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Crovette coral at St Pete

it ain't happening

Yep. GM didn't promote it and told the locals too late to promote it so turnout was minimal to moderate. They looked at the dollar signs instead of the definite inrease this year in participation and they pulled the plug. Ernie Zager worked hard to get it going last year, and again to get it to return this year but the GM brass stopped the show in St Pete.

Too bad....anyone else detect a growing lack of owner support from GM?:nonod:

Went to the ALMS race last year, but didn't own a Vette then. This year, I won't be attending because the Vette is my only transportation and I'm not parking miles away from the venue

I'm considering not going as a silent protest to the lack of a Corvette Corral. I went to Sebring last week, and will probably go to Atlanta in October so missing one race without a corral won't bother me much.
