Cruisin Across Florida "Reliability Run"

That does sound pretty cool. I am making the Hot Rod Magazine Power tour again this year starting on the 7th of June...If my car is still reliable after I get back this may be a fun drive........as long as it's not a bunch of cars going 55mph.........:icon_cheers: Unless of course the limit is 55...:shrug01:

I've often thought it would be a really neat cruise to just circumnavigate the entire state of Florida, driving along the coasts. Connie and I will probably do that some day.
 
Another cool thing to do is a sunrise sunset cruise. We went to the Kennedy Space Center for a day, spent the night, walked on the beaches the next morning and watched the sunrise. Then we cruised the back roads to Orlando, went to a winery, shopped, and returned home to Gulf side and swam in the gulf and watched the sunset. Not too many places in the USA where you can do that. Put that on your bucket list. :thumbsup:

I presented this to our club (Bay Area C.C. - Clearwater) and they jumped at it. So far we have 9 couples signed up and rooms rented in Daytona. We are looking forward to this event!! :dancer01:
 
It will be just a couple of weeks after I get back from the Power Tour but I would like to make it. I joined your club for the Poker Run a few months back that ended at the Tarpon Grill. Great bunch of folks. What hotel are you staying at?

He lists the Quality Inn 2250 International Speedway, Daytona, FL. Thank you for the kudos regarding our Club. Why not stop by a meeting? There is on this Thursday nite...7PM at Dimmitt Chevrolet.
