You know, I've often wondered about this, but are those cars with the big blowers sticking out of the hoods street legal? I would think that they would be a severe visual block to the driver and therefore illegal. :shrug01:

I agree with your concern but I have never seen a statute that addressed that Rich. And Jerry Furnish (who lives by the library)has a blower on his '80 Vette and as far as I know has never been ticketed. But then again he seldom drives it on the street.

I guess it's so rare to see them on the streets that no legislator has ever thought about it to make a law against it. Of course, I think there is a law against a "display of power" or something, isn't there? Seems I read something like that a while back. I figured someone revved their engine at some legislator in a compact bread box, and it pissed him or her off. :hehehe:

There is a law on the books. Even having anything hung off your rearview mirror constitutes impairing vision through the windshield. Had an officer tell me that decades ago.
