I expect that the wheel manufacturer would be the one that would know. The onlyAndy, how would you know if the wheels were designed to accept the sensors and how would you know if they were counter weighted prior to having them installed? Is there a flat or machined area that would visually indicate if they were built to accept the TPMS?
way I would think you could find out is to try to spin them up on a balance machine
without the tires and without the sensors. See how out of balance they
are, then insert the sensor and try again. :shrug01: Bottom line is that they
have to be balanced no matter what, "so just git 'er done"!
