I love this guy. :lmao: A man with a plan:thumbsup:

Just like whe we were kids and they had the little nudie pages with the lift up cover (not that I ever engaged in such activity you know) that "exposed" the "true" artwork;)

It's a great idea and one that you can toss right back in thier faces. Throw the static cling bikini (or nuns habit) over the babe, then rip it off right in front of the manager as you leave the complex:lmao:

As far as being hard headed, yea, I think Ray has a point. It does sound like they initially tried to work it out and you refused. That said, I too have issues with increasing government intervention into our private lives and the attempt by government to control our every action. It's also an issue for me when a private entity can over ride the constitution of the United States, can subvert State law and blatently disregard Statuatory authority with almost complete and udder impunity!! (Not just this matter but many others i deal with daily).

when one person (lets just say the property manager) has the right to determine what he/she thinks is "obscene" then I have issues and will fight to the end.

If there have been documented complaints and an attempt to resolve them, then ok, they have a point.

finally, what measure does this manager use to determine obscenity? From what I saw in person, I don't think it's obscene. I can assure you the federal and state supreme courts won't nor would the local courts. I'm sure some people would. My wife for one might, but we have different standards:(
So what stardard is she using?

Gannetts right about one thing though. Unless you fight, madame brunhilda will have you out of there quicker than you can say what the hell just happened????:rofl1:

Good luck, what ever you decide. (I'd seriously consider the static cling thing. Heck, can you still make those? I've got some ideas that I'd like to use, but not have on during my daily drive:thumbsup:  )

Usually anyone with even a smidgen of authority will try to flaunt it when they can. You see this in bureaucrats all the time. If they can find a reason to say NO to you, they will, just because they can.

Someone is always willing to take away your "rights" if you allow them to get away with it. And 99 times out of 100, if they see you just meekly accept their demands, they will not hesitate to do it again if they want to, over something else.

Whoever it was that said "the meek shall inherit the earth" was not talking about THIS planet.

Rich, I mentioned previous, the root cause of this situation developed from another issue and I confronted the management. I thought it was petty when they aid I was not allowed to wash the car on the property. Yep, power hungry people.

Thats really wierd because most of the complexes around Tampa (including some Carlton Arms complexes I believe) have car washes just for thier tenants. It's a perk, a draw to live there.

Cheap bastitches!:rofl1:

Well I have an appointment to look at an apartment today on the west side of Bradenton. It's a little out of my comfortable price range, but I'm allowed to wash the car there and they even have a vac. So far they said there's nothing wrong with the car (leasing agent viewed it) or even the nakid woman tattooed on my arm.
As for them wanting to compromise or work it out; their letter simply stated "remove or cover."
It's funny until i switched apartments here and complained about the condition the car was OK and I washed it weekly.

:rofl1: sounds like the Carlton Arms management attended the SPRINT school of customer service...If they bitch, let 'em go:rofl1:

Whats wrong with the apartments that caused you to complain?

You could park next to me and make my '06 'Vette look better than it already does (she would not notice yours then)!! :lmao:
