Will be shipping the vette to TX in late April. Anybody familiar w/ this company or used them? They appear to have a good rep.:wavey:

Excellent company. I shipped my '66 SS Nova with them and a lot of my car buddies use them as well. I had a positive experience with them.

I just looked at your website. Very nice. Maybe some day you can start a new thread and talk about the Nova and how it ended up in Finland.

If Exotic does not work out for you, try Thomas Sunday, Inc. Tom's operation is located in PA, but his trucks travel the entire country. I used Tom because he is a Corvette guy, a member of the Cumberland Valley Corvette Club ( and NCCC club in the East Region) and I had gotten a good recommendation on him. When I moved to Florida permanently in 2007, this company did a great job for me. They transported two of my three Vettes ('69 & the '04 Z16) from Maryland to Ft Myers. They picked my cars up on time, they never moved from the truck that picked them up until they arrived in Ft Myers and I took delivery without a scratch on either one. They also arrived when they told me they would arrive.

They were not the cheapest quote that I got for the two Vettes, but they also were not the highest price. If I had to move my cars again, I would call Thomas Sunday because of the job he did for me the first time.

Here is a link to his site.

I hope this helps. Good luck shipping your Vette to Texas!

Thanx for the replies...I will probably go w/ Exotic. Thos. Sunday advised they do not service the FL to TX route:shrug01:

Hey Ted,
I'll drive it there for ya. I promise to keep it under 120 mph :ack2:.
On the other hand, if no one is looking, hmmmmm...... :lmao:
Have a safe trip friend. We'll miss you.

UPDATE: Don't use these dudes!!! They stood me up at the last minute and didn't even do me the courtesy of a return phone call after I booked 2 months in advance! Not the way to run a business...:toetap05:

The story has a happy ending though...It was too late to arrange for an alternate carrier when Exotic stood me up so I flew my stepson to FL to drive my SUV so I could drive the vette cross country to TX...1200 flawless fun-filled miles! Miss seein you guys but lovin TX and the hill country. Much more room to exercise the vette! Regards to all!!:wavey:

Glad you had a happy ending my friend. Texas hill country is beautiful. I was born in San Antonio at Lackland AFB.
I hope you enjoy your new home. Can't eat too many tacos!!!
