Sorry to see him sell...
it must have been an agonizing decision...even as interest in the car waned.
I for one don't think I'll ever suffer a dislike or disinterest for the Corvette. If anything, some people have told me to my face, or behind my back, that I'm "ate up" with the Corvette! :shrug01:
Well, being in either of my 2 Vettes, or on the Harley, is not totally for bragging rights of ownership, or for showing off with it...but for more of maintaining my youth in my 50's for what I saw in the car as a impressionable kid at 12 or 13 years of age. Once I found out that girls go with toys made owership that much more imperative as well! :hehehe:
I saw all the other exotics as well back then, but nothing got my juices flowing or made my liver quiver quite like the Corvette did. :hehehe:
I knew one day I would have to have one. :vette:
There has never been another car, then and now, that makes any other kind of impression upon me...I don't know exactly why that occurs, obviously being hard to explain or put into words sometimes, like what I'm experiencing right now. But I know this...there is no mistaking the car when you see it.
I've even noticed kids that are only 5, 6 or 7 years of age, that instantly recognizes the Corvette. How that happens, I haven't a clue. I just don't see that phenomenon with any other car! Go figure!! :dancer01:
Don't let your Corvette memories fade, get whatever you need to accomplish done, and then come back soon to the Corvette fold...you'll be welcomed back like you never left!!
