Hey all. I posted a thread in here before where my 1991 vette was having problem Lighting off. I have checked everything I can and thought it was due to the Vats or security system shutting off the fuel pumps. I have found out that it doesn't shut the pumps off but rather shuts the injectors off. I have left it unlocked and it still doesn't fire off. I believe it has something to do with the fuel system from the pump to the injectors. I have looked in my manual and can't locate anything other then the filter. Does the fuel system have a relay or something that would be intermittently bad keeping my vette from firing off?

I have seen this one before.....it was quite a few years ago, so my memory is foggy at best. But it looks like my memory may be the best shot that you have. I do remember the flaw in the GM service manual. There is no relay shown. There IS a relay for the fuel pump. WHere it is located, is what I can't remember. I will look tonight at my old notes from the dark ages. I probably have some diagram that I can scan. Keep patient, as I have a big pile of notes and diagrams.

Yes there is a Fuel pump relay!! 85-91 by windshield wiper motor!!:thumbsup:

Thanks Junkie. I will check my book and see if I can find troubleshooting that. My car has started up ever since the dealer fiasco. But when warmed up it is slow to light off.:thumbsup: :crazy03:
