:shrug01: can someone tell me where the fuel pump relay is on my 85 c5.replaced the fuel pump now sometimes starts and then doesnt . anyone got any ideas. when it dont start got fire no fuel .can it be egni??:NoNo:

MORE HELP ON FUEL PUMP
ON A VOLT METER THE PUMP HAS POWER WITH KEY ON SO RELAY MUST BE WORKING. BUT BRAND NEW BOSH FUEL FILTER TWO WEEKS OLD,NO CREMPS IN RETURN LINE.CANT BELEIVE ITS BAD REPLACED ANOTHER ONE 9 MONTHS AGO.VOLTAGE READING 10.5 AT PUMP??????????????HELPPPPPP:shrug01:

When you replaced the fuel pump did you replace the mesh "sock" or screen on it? If not you may be sucking up rust/trash and clogging it. Did you notice any rust in the tank when you changed it out? Take your fuel filter out and see if it's got trash in it. I had a Pontiac Grand Prix that had a rusty tank and it would partially stop up the "sock". Did you have these same symptoms before you replaced the fuel pump?
