Had a pleasant surprise at the dealer the other day. Took the '04 in to have the driver's door panel replaced under warranty. The arm rest was warped or something. While it was there I asked about the rubber pieces on the driver and passenger side door (like where you put your arm out the window when it's down.) It was getting discolored and funny looking. In fact, I had ordered and received replacement rubber from Mid America and was going to find someone to do the work. Anyway, the service writer said the rubber could be replaced under the warranty...I thought they would be "wear" items and not covered. Lucky me! Had the work done Monday and the new door panel and rubber pieces look much better. I'm returning the rubber pieces to Mid America and all is well :yesnod:
